Los Angeles Asian Film Awards Live Event To Take Place At Chaplin Theater, Raleigh Hollywood Studios
Los Angeles Asian Film Awards(LAAFA) is having its first live event in Los Angeles at Chaplin Theater, Raleigh Hollywood Studios, on November 12-13.
The event will have theater screenings of great Asian filmmakers' works from worldwide and two panels, "How To Write and How To Pitch" speakers: producer Tien Brunelle ("Dr. Phill"), distributor Timothy O'Brien (CEO at Oration Films), writer Peter Robinson("House of Sand and Fog" starring Jennifer Connelly & Ben Kingsley, "Office Uprising" starring Zachary Levi, Brenton Thwaites,& Jane Levy); and "Journey To Hollywood," speakers: actor Chriselle Almeida("Big Bang Theory," "Sex and The City 2"), actor Mattew Yang King("Love, Death & Roberts," "Riverdale"), and Elizebath Ho("Disjointed," "Life Partners") share their experiences and stories about working as minorities in Hollywood.
Los Angeles Asian Film Awards, originally called Las Vegas Asian Film Awards (LVAFA), was an independent festival that resides beneath the umbrella of AOF MegaFest, which is in its 19th year and is the largest film event of its kind in the world. Held in Las Vegas at the Premiere Theaters and Locations, the show regularly exceeds 20,000 guests and attendees.
After a first successful annual event in Las Vegas with the legendary AOF MegaFest in the summer of 2021, the event moved to Los Angeles, the center of the world film industry.
